  The Altar is Under The Compass (Compass and Square)

  exodus 38. in the first verse the altar is described as "five cubits in length and breadth".... "it was foursquare".

  in verse 4 "he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof".

  seems to describe a compass and square, does it not?

  If there is any connection, 18th century Masons ripped off the Old Testament. Just like the Nazis ripped off the swastika. Ancient use of the Swastika does not mean that the ancients were setting up a system of national socialism. Some of the disciples were referred to as fishermen because... well, they were fishermen.

  yes, the wtbs has done much deserving ridicule- yet does far more deserving credit and respect.. but this is not about them, but the truth about god and christ they have made known, by showing it to all in the scriptures.

  because of this work, most know that god(s) is not the ultimate sadist bbqing billions in a mythical 'hellfire' anymore, etc!.

  this topic is at the request of little bird- is it possible to have a peaceful discussion here- without all the self-righteous psychobabble from so many?.

  my challenge to you is..... next time you see a parent beating a human child in public at the kingdom hall, when there are two witnesses - you and one other - call 911 or the police, and report the parent by name, for child abuse..

  Question: How, exactly, does philosophy underpin science?

  i have seen the statement in the title thrown around a few times (bts, i think looking at you), and i thought i would throw out the question and see what happened.

  i properly need to a few definitions: science will here be defined as both physics and mathematics which in turn is defined as: .

  physics: stuff that happends in a laboratorie and stuff written about what happened or is expected to happend in nature.

  Mad Dawg came from Mad Dog Murdoch on the A-Team. I started using it when I was playing online first person shooter games. I had been using names like: Major Payne, General Chaos, and Private Parts. I eventually settled on Mad Dawg. When I started posting on a board, it simply came with me.

  Have your JW Relatives Explained about Generation/Overlap Change to You ?

  after reading on the way out's thread about his mom explaining the generation overlap to him it kicked this idea into my head to make this thread .

  i thought it would be helpful to see if anybody here has had jw relatives or friends try to explain this " generation overlap " theory to you as a faded or inactive witness and what happened in the conversations.

  so please feel free to post your experiences.

  What does your claim about there has only been one Christian-based religious organization that has more than adequately fulfilled organization that has more than adequately fulfilled Bible prophecies…Blah, blah, blah have to do with how the average Dubber would respond to the question about the presence of Christ in 1914? You said “…but you had better hope that you do not select me at random, for I would not answer in such a simplistic fashion.” Is not the supposed fulfilled prophecy the idea that Jesus returned invisibly in 1914?

  From what you have demonstrated, you won’t answer the question at all. Is my assessment of the average Dubbers’ response accurate, or not? What response would I get to this question from the average JW: Did the WTS/Chuck Russell predict Jesus’ invisible presence would occur in 1914? Again, if the composite sign was so obvious, why did it take them until 1943 to see it?
